Performance disclosures

How performance is presented here, and why.

Every number on this platform is governed by the rules on this page. They exist because performance advertising is where investors get hurt first.

Updated June 1, 2026 · Prototype copy, not reviewed by counsel

1.The standing disclosure

Past performance does not guarantee future results. No figure on this site — hypothetical or live, verified or not — predicts what a strategy will do next, and no presentation choice we make can change that.

All performance is shown net of the modeled costs stated in each agent's methodology disclosure and gross of platform subscription fees, which are flat and not performance-based. Benchmark comparisons default to the S&P 500 total return over the identical window.

2.Hypothetical performance

Results labeled HYPOTHETICAL are backtested: they were produced by applying a strategy's rules to historical data, with the benefit of hindsight, and do not represent actual trading. Hypothetical results have inherent limitations. They are routinely overfit to the sample they were developed on; they assume executions and costs that real markets may not have offered; they exclude the operational failures, margin calls and human interventions of live trading; and no representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve similar results.

For these reasons, hypothetical figures on this platform are labeled on every surface where they appear — every card, row, chart and table — with no exceptions, and public pages show exact figures to no one. If you find an unlabeled hypothetical number anywhere on this site, that is a defect; report it and we will treat it with the severity of a security incident.

3.Verification tiers

T0 (Hypothetical) means a self-reported backtest that passed methodology review but reflects no live trading. T1 (Live · Unverified) means the creator represents the strategy as live, but the platform cannot yet prove the record. T2 (Verified from a stated date) means this platform has timestamped the agent's signals from that date forward; the verified segment is computed from records the creator cannot edit. T3 (Execution-Verified), reserved for the future trading phase, will mean reconciliation against actual broker fills.

A tier describes evidence quality, not strategy quality. A verified record of mediocrity is still mediocre — and will be displayed with exactly the same prominence.

4.Why public figures are banded

Unauthenticated pages show return bands and Sharpe tiers rather than exact, dated live figures. Broadcasting precise performance claims to the open web is the core activity the SEC Marketing Rule polices; showing coarse bands until a user has been eligibility-checked and has acknowledged these disclosures is a deliberate design decision, not a growth-hacking one.

5.Prototype status

This is a Phase 1 design prototype. All agents, creators, records and figures are simulated for demonstration; no real trading records are presented, and this copy has not been reviewed by securities counsel. In production, every page governed by this document would be.
